The State Bar of Arizona certifies specialists in ten practice areas. This index shows everyone on the State Bar’s published list on October 1, 2026, with the year each was certified. Every name links to the lawyer’s State Bar profile.
Compiled by Jennifer Rebholz, board certified Personal Injury & Wrongful Death specialist and current chair of the State Bar working group on legal specialization, from public State Bar of Arizona data. Independent analysis; not a State Bar publication.
As of October 1, 2026, 408 lawyers hold State Bar of Arizona board certification, about 2% of the 20,192 active status members of the State Bar (State Bar of Arizona 2025 Annual Report).

Index analysis Percentages, medians, renewal rates and changes are calculated by this Index from State Bar lists.

Every dot is a current specialist. The outer rings hold the earliest certifications; the center holds the newest. A thick outer ring means an older roster; a full gold center means a renewing one. Select a portrait to open that specialty.
Dot size reflects number of specialists. Administrative Law and Construction Defect are not plotted: every specialist in a new specialty was certified recently.

As of October 1, 2026, the State Bar of Arizona lists 93 board certified specialists in Personal Injury & Wrongful Death, down 20% from 116 in December 2020. No new specialists were added since the December 2025 guide; one name missing from that guide is listed again. 58 were certified before 2000.
Since 2020, 32 specialists have left the list and 7 have been certified. Women are 3 of those 7, and all 6 women listed in 2020 are still listed.
